Community Outreach

At VHS Robotics one of our goals is to encourage young people to take an interest in the STEM field.

STEM not only encourages science, technology, engineering, and math, but also teamwork, good communication skills, how to present, and so much more!

MiniBots

Our MiniBots program is a VIQ program for younger students. Teens from our VRC level volunteer to teach the students through building the VIQ kits. This program encourages teamwork when building and develops good leadership skills in our volunteers.

IQ Camps

Our IQ Camps are a one day camp that runs from 9am till 2pm. It is a fun day of problem solving as the kids come up with ways to move and lift objects and also encourages teamwork and good communication skills. These camps are for older participants, but are still led by our VRC students.

Fundraisers

Throughout the year VHS Robotics does numerous fundraisers for our club. From brat fries and trips to The Fire to candy bar sales and showing our robots at Barnes & Noble, you can bet to see VHS Robotics out in the community!
